Joining at a Participating Dentist
Members recently brought to our attention their preference to join at our participating dentists.
So, staff at our participating dentists can now field your questions and assist you with joining the NobleHealth community. You receive 3 bonus months of membership FREE for completing all application details correctly.
The following advantages were outlined:
- Patients can first decide whether they are comfortable to have their treatment done by our participating dentists.
- Patients will learn about the savings when they receive their treatment plans. They can then decide whether it is worthwhile to join.
- Patients can talk with the staff at the dentist about NobleHealth.
- Patients have more payment options when joining at the dentist – cash, cheque, money order, Visa, MasterCard, or Bankcard.
Thank you to the participating dentists and staff who have worked earnestly to achieve this initiative.
Thank you also to the members who brought this to our attention. We are glad we could implement this plan.

Aussie System in Decay
Yet another scathing article concerning the Dental Health system has appeared in The Australian.
- The article looks at a 25-year-old woman who has been waiting three years for dentures after untreated gum disease cost her more than half her teeth.
- It reiterates points I outlined in an earlier entry titled Health System Crisis – Waiting List Skyrockets.
- Australian Dental Association chief executive Robert Boyd-Boland said,
“Even people who could afford private cover were struggling to pay for dental care. Premiums are going up while the health funds are paying out less.”
- As an academic who teaches undergraduate dental students, Zoellner says,
“All levels of government have underestimated the link between poor oral health and potentially fatal conditions such as heart disease”.
Zoellner refers to research from Columbia University that I addressed in an earlier entry titled
Gum Disease and Heart Disease Linked. - Zoellner also says,
“People die with dental infections and it’s not like it’s uncommon. It’s happening in most public hospitals in Australia.”
“At one stage, I had a really bad toothache and I lost lots of weight and became anaemic because it was too painful to eat properly.”

Melbourne Cup Festivities
A few years ago I had the pleasure of attending the Melbourne Cup.
My friends and I had a tremendous time – the day went off like a frog in a sock.
So, I wish you all a great day wherever you may be partaking in the festivities.
